Drug Uses

Prometrium is very beneficial in preserving the lining of the uterus in women who are on estrogen replacement therapy. Prometrium is the only oral progesterone that is easily available in the market.

Follow the usage directions of the doctor correctly.



Missed Dose

If you forgot to take a dose of Prometrium, take it when you remember by spacing it with 4 to 5 hours minimum if that is not possible skip the dose and resume the medication as usual.



Storage

Keep Prometrium at room temperature within 59 and 86 degrees F(15 and 30 degrees C). Store only in a cool dark place that is not directly revealed to sources of heat or moisture and sunlight. Save it somewhere away from kids and pets.
Warning/Precautions

Doctors usually do not recommend the usage of Prometrium if you are allergic to any element in it or if you have conditions like heart problems.

Inform all your medical history and medicine details to your medical practitioner.
