Before you begin the treatment, you should consult your doctor and address all your medical history. Communicate all the allergic reactions you have as well as all the medicines you are taking on a regular basis. Include entire details about over-the-counter medications, herbal tablets, dietary supplements, and prescription medicines.



Avoid Vigora if:

*Vigorous activities are restricted to you due to weak heart health. OR,

*You have a history of heart-related diseases like arrhythmic disorders, heart attack, or stroke.



If you notice any signs like chest, neck, shoulder, or jaw pain; insensitivity of an arm or leg; severe dizziness, nausea, headache, stomach ache, or fainting; vomiting; or vision differences, then it might be an indication of a heart attack. Stop instantly and seek emergency medical care. In case if it is a sign of heart attack it is better to reach a medical center soon.



Vigora must also be avoided if one or more of the next mentioned conditions apply to you:

*Liver disorders

*Kidney disorder (or if you are on dialysis)

*Sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia

*Hemophilia

*Ulcer in the stomach;

*Retinitis pigmentosa

*Peyronies disease



Alcohol Usage & Vigora medication



Even though there is no direct interference between alcohol and Vigora, alcohol being a muscle relaxant it may result in an opposite effect of the medication. Therefore, doctors do not recommend the usage of alcohol during ED treatment.



Moderate drowsiness or blurred sight may be encountered while using Vigora. This will fade away as the body begins to adapt to the medication.



Even then avoid tasks that require being alert, for instance, driving and controlling machinery until you know how your body behaves at some point.



As the medicine induces feeling dizziness and giddiness you should be careful while getting up from sitting or laying down position.



Some medicines that can cause reactions with Vigora



Vigora is recognized to react negatively when blended with certain medicines. The results are usually mild in nature but can be fatal at times. These medications include:

*Nitrate containing medicines like Nitrostat, Nitrolingual, Nitro-Dur, Nitro-Bid, Minitran, Deponit, Transderm-Nitro, Dilatrate-SR, Isordil, Sorbitrate, isosorbide mononitrate (Imdur, ISMO, Monoket), etc in the form of ointment, patch or tablets.

*Recreational pills termed poppers.

*Bosentan or Tracleer;

*Warfarin (Coumadin);

*Cimetidine (Tagamet HB, Tagamet);

*Antibiotics like erythromycin (E-Mycin, Eryc, Ery-Tab) or clarithromycin (Biaxin);

*Doxazosin (Cardura), Terazosin (Hytrin), prazosin (Minipress);

*HIV drugs like amprenavir (Agenerase), tipranavir (Aptivus), darunavir (Prezista), efavirenz (Sustiva), nevirapine (Viramune), indinavir (Crixivan), saquinavir (Invirase, Fortovase), lopinavir-ritonavir (Kaletra), fosamprenavir (Lexiva), ritonavir (Norvir), atazanavir (Reyataz), or nelfinavir (Viracept);

*An antifungal medication like itraconazole (Sporanox) or ketoconazole (Nizoral);

*Carbamazepine (Tegretol), or phenytoin (Dilantin), phenobarbital (Luminal), or

*Rifampin (Rimactane, Rifadin) or rifabutin (Mycobutin).



Important note:

If you encounter an erection that persists for more than 6 hours, then you should get emergency medical attention. This erection may happen randomly after using the medication and may not subside even after you have sex. It may cause persistent damage to your penile muscles.



Vigora shouldn't be taken along with any other ED medicines. Also, patients above 65 years should take good care while taking Vigora. Vigora is not a women and children's medicine.
