Usage

This medicine should be started under the supervision of a doctor and should be ingested according to his advice. A detailed description is given on the label, please go through it to get more details. It is better to have Lexapro after having food to avoid getting stomach upset or you can choose to have alone.

It is very essential that you finish the dosage schedule and do not break it in between without asking your doctor. Taking your Lexapro at the same time each day is a verified method to avoid missing any doses.

Missed Dose

If you forgot to have a dose, take it when you remember but after that do not have the next dose within 4 hours. Or else skip the dose and continue as usual. Never take two doses of Lexapro at a time

Storage

Keep LEXAPRO at room temperature, 20–25°C(68–77°F). Always keep it in a cool, dark, and clean place where light and heat is not directly touching the medicine. Preserve Lexapro from kids and pets.

Warning/Precautions

No doctors recommend using LEXAPRO if you are allergic to any component in it or to Celexa.

Take a review of your past/present medical annals in detail with your doctor before starting therapy with Lexapro. If you are using any herbal supplements or OTC medication, including vitamin tablets, then communicate it to your doctor.

Your progress might be observed or the dosage might be adjusted to suit you if you have diseases like liver or kidney disease, or if you have seizures, or suicidal thoughts.

If you are awaiting a child or are planning to have a child in the near future, then discuss your doctor before using LEXAPRO to address any potential threats to the unborn baby.

If you are a breastfeeding mother seek consultation before using LEXAPRO as some drugs are secreted in the breast milk and may enter the infant.
