LIPITOR is very valuable in treating high blood cholesterol and it acts by decreasing unhealthy low-density lipoprotein (LDL) in the body.

Usage

Following the dosage guidance of your doctor is the best way to use any prescription. Go through the label for more accurate information.

You may have LIPITOR with a meal to avoid an upset stomach or without one.

Do not stop the medicine without doctor's advice, it will bring adverse effects. Taking your medicine at the same time each day is an attempted and approved method to avoid missing any doses.

LIPITOR comes under statins drug class and it acts by decreasing harmful low-density lipoprotein (LDL) in the body.

Missed Dose

Take missed dose right when you remember without anymore delay. But keep in mind that you will have to modify your next dose by separating it out by 4 to 5 hours. If that is not possible please skip the dose and continue as usual. A double dose is not recommended for Lipitor at all.

Storage

Overdose
