Nateglinide belongs to the meglitinide class of drugs helps which your body regulate the amount of glucose (sugar) in your blood. It decreases the amount of glucose by stimulating the pancreas to release insulin.  This medication is used together with diet and exercise to treat Type 2 Diabetes.

This medication is usually taken three times daily 30 minutes before a meal to just before a meal. Take the doses as directed by your doctor.
Before starting on Nateglinide, tell your doctor what prescription and nonprescription medications you are taking and if you are allergic to any other drugs to avoid any drug interaction or side-effects.
