Drug Uses

Parlodel is very helpful in treating persistent breast milk production, and other conditions in women. It functions by blocking the release of prolactin from the pituitary gland and reducing growth hormone levels (in patients with acromegaly). In Parkinson's disease, Parlodel works by exciting dopamine receptors in some parts of the brain.



Usage

Complete the dosage of Parlodel by following the directions of your doctor. Read the label if you want to learn about the ingredients and more. You may take the medicine along with food or without one, but to avoid stomach upset it is better to have after a meal.



Missed Dose

4 to 5 hours should be maintained between two doses if you are taking a missed dose, otherwise, it is better to skip and resume the medication with the next dose.



Storage

A temperature within 59 and 86 degrees F(15 and 30 degrees C) will be appropriate for storing Parlodel. Never expose to direct light, heat, or wetness. Store in place were children and pets cant reaches the medicine.
